Categories of Players in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions

- Uncapped Players: Indian nationals are active in domestic cricket but have not yet been selected for their national team.
- Overseas Players: International players from full and associate member nations.
Only up to the four best overseas players are allowed to play XI.
